WHEAT ALE ABV: 5.5
To start off we will take a closer look at my favorite brewery Jackie O’s located an hour and a half Southeast of Columbus, Ohio in the small town of Athens something huge is brewing with an amazing barrel program and sours in the works (Stay tuned for more information on this!) Jackie O’s is best known for their summertime flagship Razz Wheat. 40% white wheat and 60% malted two row create a nice subtle wheat ale. 420lbs of all natural raspberry puree is added during fermentation giving this beer a unique and playful personality. The rosy haze and sticky head embody a continuum of sour sweetness held together by a wheat back bone
