Today I’m rounding up my favorite breakfast hacks for busy vegetarians. I started my vegetarian journey over a year and a half ago and my biggest tip to anyone looking to make the change is to make sure you have healthy, easy-to-make staples in your kitchen. As a single mother of two kids and a business owner I often find myself with little to no time in the morning to make a nutritious breakfast. One of my favorite brands that have saved the day more than once was Sweet Earth. They offer a variety of delicious, easy to make options that are perfect for busy vegetarians!
I have to admit I fell in love with their burritos, they are so filling. The first month or so without meat I struggled with finding foods that filled me up and made me feel satisfied. Sweet Earth burritos have been my saving grace when my meetings run over and I have 5 minutes to leave before getting my children from school. They can be heated in the microwave and easily be taken on-the-go. For that reason I always make sure my freezer is full of Sweet Earth foods.
Sweet Earth has it’s roots in sustainability and I love supporting companies that have a similar mission as I do. You can check out their Eco-Clock which shows the impact Sweet Earth and their customers have made HERE. I also encourage you to watch the Kelly, the co-founder in the video below explaining more about what Sweet Earth is all about.
Recently Sweet Earth launched Functional Burritos which I got the opportunity to try and I loved them! My favorite was the Protein Lover’s which offers 20 grams of natural, plant-based protein and 5 grams of fiber!
This burrito is hand-crafted with only the freshest ingredients. Start your day with a burrito filled with scrambled eggs, quinoa, meatless Tuscan Grounds, Benevolent Bacon and cheddar cheese!
Lighten Up is another new burrito from Sweet Earth featuring seasoned tofu, homemade salsa verde, spinach, black eyed peas and red bell peppers. Feel full and satisfied with 10 grams of protein, 7 grams of fiber all for only 190 calories! Seriously guys, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Get Cultured was created with a focus on digestive health. With a probiotic, vegan Korean-inspired breakfast burrito you will find seasoned tofu, cabbage, fermented red peppers, edamame and ginger.
Another product that I have to shout out is their Breakfast Sandwiches.
THE MODERN BREAKFAST
We all have the dream: a breakfast sandwich that truly, tastily rocks. We built it, so hit the proverbial farm-stand and have a breakfast fit for a modern morning.
Protein-packed, plant-based, and mouthwateringly gourmet, they’re served on our unique whole grain and flax seed bread. And they feature our perfected Righteous Meats: vegan bacon, sausage, and ham that put the benevolence back in breakfast.
Fresh vegetables, lush spreads, quality cheese—this is breakfast changing before our eyes. Changing the world, too, one planet-friendly bite at a time.
