It’s week 2 of my sugar-free lifestyle with Personal Trainer Foods and I am feeling amazing. I have to admit, our #BoozyFriday post was a bit tempting this week- but I powered through like a boss. If you missed my week 1 update you can find it HERE. This week was a bit different than planned, I ended up have two super sick kiddos, a sick spouse and ended up getting sick as well. All I can say is I am so thankful that personal trainer foods comes prepacked, portioned perfectly and ready to microwave. I know last week I said the microwave use could be a con, but it made my life SO much easier this week!
It’s funny how when you start to get under the weather you body craves the comfort food. I stuck to meal plan, but I had to nix my workouts for most of the week. I only got 2 days of cardio in, which was necessary. Since I was under-the-weather I didn’t weigh myself, but I can tell an increase in muscle tone which is something that is always good to see.
My favorite foods this week has to be their brussel sprouts. I love that they steam perfectly in only a few minutes, which means heaven to a tired Momma who just wants some healthy food after a long day of taking care of sick kids. It was hard to gauge this week since it was thrown off my illness, but I can say that I bounced back much quicker than usual and I am sure it has something to do with how clean I was eating.
Pros for Personal Trainer Foods Week 2:
- The pre-packaged, perfectly portioned meals were a life saver when life threw a wrench in plans
- The brussel sprouts are seriously delicious.
- Increased muscle tone.
- I think the clean eating helped me get over my illness quicker.
Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you come back next Friday for my week 3 update!
