I love to drink coffee. I love to try out new exotic blends, but I have a hard time finding time to search for them. I also usually end up running out of coffee then running to the store to get my boring go-to blend. When I stumbled upon ResQRoast the first thing that caught my eye was that ResQRoast donates 15% of every purchase to the charity of your choice. I also noticed that all of their coffee is Fair Trade, Organic, Rain Forest Alliance Certified or sourced from farming co-ops. Not only will you receive two twelve-ounce bags of delicious coffee, you will also be giving back to a charity and helping the environment while you are at it.
I got to review a month of ResQRoast. I received it so quickly! Their customer service goes beyond to answer emails fast. The first thing I notice was that these bags of coffee are full-sized. You don’t get dinky samples. ResQRoast sends you enough to enjoy! I even shared some of my delicious coffee. It was difficult because it was so tasty, but ResQRoast makes it simple to order more bags if you find one you really love. All you have to do is head on over to their website and click the “The Coffee Shop” tab. From there you can order individual bags for $12.99. You can also purchase gifts, they have a really wonderful Exploration Pack that would make the best gift for any coffee lover in your life. You will get six 2.5 ounce bags of coffee to enjoy. You get three different flavors to choose from, so it’s enough to really try it out.
I got to test out Green Peaks and El Magdalena. When you open your box you are greeted with whiff of coffee. It smelled SO good. Not like the grocery store coffee, no. You can smell the different notes in each blend. They also send you a really nice card that explains all about the coffee.
They also included a card with some helpful hints on how to enjoy your coffee. I personally let both cups of coffee get cold (chasing after two kids will do that), and I thought they were both still delectable.
As you can see Green Peaks’ origin was from Peru, Brazil and Haiti. It’s a medium roast. They also give you the tasting notes, and really wonderful story about the coffee. I loved that they added this to their box. It makes you feel connected and it also helps you really enjoy the coffee.
El Magdalena was my favorite coffee. It was a light roast, but don’t let that fool you. This coffee gave me more energy than I have had in a long time. It is also very smooth tasting. The freshness of ResQRoast coffee is enough to keep me coming back for more.
ResQRoast offers subscriptions to fit everyone’s coffee needs. You can order it monthly for $29 – cancel at anytime. You can also subscribe for 3-months for $81 or 6-months for $150. This would make a wonderful gift for any people going back to college in the fall, or taking Summer classes. They will be sure to have enough coffee to keep them energized and focused for all of that studying, plus it’s shipped directly to them, which is wonderful! This would also make a great gift to all of the graduates!
Overall rating, ResQRoast has a 10 out of 10 for customer service. 10 out of 10 for amount of product, being able to actually try out a full-sized amount lets you enjoy it- or share with friends! 10-10 for giving back to the community and charity of your choice. 10-10 for explaining each coffee so well and giving a back story. I am overall VERY pleased with this box. If you like coffee, and giving back this subscription box is for YOU!
ResQRoast was nice enough to offer 20% EVERYTHING on their website until June 30th 2013! You just enter the code FULL20!
You can get your own subscription, purchase it as a gift or just learn more about it on there website right HERE.
